Tax Representation

What is an enrolled agent?

An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of practicing that is, representing taxpayers, before the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled agents, like attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs), are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and which IRS offices they can practice before.

Bio for our Enrolled Agent
"Mark Glyptis, a retired Federal employee with over 36 years of service, is a new resource for EB.  Mark has been enrolled to practice before the IRS since 1985.  Enrollment requires yearly continuing education in accounting, tax law, and ehtics, and allows Mark to negotiate on behalf of his clients with the IRS.  Before aligning with EB, Mark ran his own tax preparation company for 15 years.  In addition, Mark had over 13 years experience with the IRS auditing individual, corporate, estate, and trust returns, including working on international tax issues."
